Jubilee celebrations of 1935 (King George V and Queen Mary)

The day started at 10.00am with jubilee mugs being presented to children. At 1.30pm they had a Fancy Dress Parade on Stafford Orchard. This was followed by a Service with Mountsorrel Town Band, sports for children and a tea for over 65s. In the evening there was dancing and fireworks.
