55 years with one firm

At Messrs Wright and Sons annual dinner and dance held at the Essoldo Cinema on Thursday of last week, a presentation was made to Mrs Nellie Ball, of Quorn, who has been with the firm for 55 years. Our picture shows Mr Michael Wright handing a cheque to Mrs Ball, to whom tributes were paid for her loyal and devoted service to the firm.

Nellie Ball was the Great Great Aunt of Dean Gale. She was actually Miss Ball and lost her fiancé, Louis Brewin, in WW1.
