Looking up Woodhouse Road from Loughborough Road, about 1905

The house on the right is 1 Loughborough Road, which for many years from the 1990s to 2020 was Aqua, hairdressers.

Note the horse and cart down the road, and Percy Tunnecliffe in the foreground, who was the photographer’s grandson.

This unique photograph was taken by Richard Tunnecliffe (see Artefact 2614) taken in about 1905 and is part of a collection that had previously not seen the light of day for over 100 years
