Marquees for M Wright and Sons Centenary 1960

Marquees on the field on School Lane, ready for the Wright’s centenary celebration event held on 16th June 1960. There was a meal, cabaret and dancing. For a copy of the evening's programme see Artefact 2405.

The field is next to the small cottages on School Lane that are opposite the old Quorn National School. In the photograph the River Soar is on the left.
