William Harris Inglesant, Quorn, died 1912 aged 101

This article about the life of William Harris Inglesant appeared in the Quorndon Magazine in Spring 2013.

A hundred years ago it was almost unheard of to live to one hundred years old, but the 1911 census for Quorn showed William Harris Inglesant from Loughborough Road did just that.

At the time of the article it was not possible to trace a photograph of William, but patience pays off and three years later, in December 2016, a postcard came to light with a fantastic picture of this old gentleman!
