Wright's Children's Christmas Party - 1977

Loughborough Echo - 30th December 1977

About 40 children of employees of Messrs M Wright and Sons Ltd of Quorn Mills, Quorn, had a happy time at their annual Christmas party in the works canteen on Saturday. The programme included a disco and games and a sumptuous tea. Father Christmas (Mr David Williams, works manager) attended, much to the children's delight, and all received a gift.

Mr G Steel (managing director) was among the visitors and the event was organised by Mrs Margaret Lane, with the tea helpers including Mrs D Bignall and Mrs M Woodforth.
