The Farnham Monuments: Myths, Legends and Family Fables

This research was carried out by Moira Ackers from Loughborough, and published by The Church Monuments Society (http://www.churchmonumentssociety.org) in June and July 2015.

It explains in a very readable and interesting way much of the history behind the Farnham family monuments, including their original positions within Quorn Church and the effect of re-siting and over restoration in Victorian times.

Quorn Village On-line Museum would like to thank Moira and The Church Monuments Society (http://www.churchmonumentssociety.org) for their kind permission to reproduce this paper.
