A Quorn beauty - Miss S A Gamble.

Loughborough Herald - 2nd August 1917

When this picture appeared in the newspaper, no other information was provided.

Maria Sykes, Sarah Gamble's great niece, contected the museum team in August 2018 and provided additional information, which enabled a little more detail to be added to Sarah's story.

Sarah Anne Gamble, was born in 1899 and in 1911 was living with her parents at what is now 69 Meeting Street. In 1924 she married Ernest A Newton.
