Sir Richard Sutton - Master of Quorn Hunt 1847-1855

Sir Richard Sutton, upon taking Mastership of the Quorn Hunt in 1847 rented only the stables and kennels. He bought Quorn Hall and the estate a year or two later and was said to have kept a lavish household costing over £10,000 a year until his death in 1855.
