Quorn St Bartholomew’s teapot
This small china teapot is 16cm (6.5 in) long, 8 cm (3.125 ins) wide and 11cm (4.25 ins) tall. It has the same transfer print as Artefact 727 and Artefact 1793 and probably dates from the Edwardian period, perhaps about 1910. The gilding has survived remarkably well, although the lid is missing.
Using a Google reverse image search, it was found that this exact teapot was used for other church and public buildings across the country. There is no makers mark, but the other images enable us to know what the teapot lid looked like!
