Quorn Hall Lodge, Barrow Road, early 1900s

There are two former lodges to Quorn Hall and this one is situated on Barrow Road, on the right as you leave Quorn, but before the bridge into Barrow. It is within Quorn Parish boundary.

The photograph shows off the avenue of chestnut trees in all its splendour. Edward Handley Warner started to thin out the avenue of trees around 1895 so, this would indicate that the lower photograph was probably taken before then.
