82nd Airborne Paratroopers at Quorn Camp 1944

Francis X. Schweikert, was an American paratrooper based at Quorn Camp from July to September 1944. The photograph on the right and those in artefact 2045 and artefact 2046 were taken at the tented Quorn Camp and given to Francis by John Diffin (a fellow paratrooper) when he visited the Schweikert home in 1947. All of the men in the group picture were in G Company:
