Quorn House - The Hall 1956

From The Leicester Graphic - February 1956

Black oak is the predominant feature of the entrance hall. Both the panelling and the furniture being in heavy black oak. The large sideboard on the right of the picture was made from one of the trees felled on the Estate. The set of chairs, again in black oak, are Cromwellian and the room is decorated with old pewter and Staffordshire china.
