Leicester Road, looking down towards the School Lane, 1970s

This photograph was taken in the 1970s, looking down Leicester Road from the Cross direction, towards School Lane.

The shop on the left was demolished shortly after this picture was taken. Wooden fencing can be seen on the right where The Mills flats are now.
