The Dining Room at Quorn House - 1956
A room crowded with historical interest. Round the one half of the heavily carved Victorian panelling are crests of the branch of the Farnham family from Nether Hall and round the opposite side are the crests of the Over-hall Farnhams. High on the one wall is a combined coat of arms of the two families dating back to 1393. The fireplace is the real point of interest with the painting of John Farnham, Gentleman Pensioner to Queen Elizabeth's court in the centre.
